FITDISTRICT SUMMER LEAGUE 2024


After two years of incredible growth, the Fitdistrict Summer League is back, and it’s bigger, bolder, and more electric than ever! This event has evolved into the ultimate celebration of the Fitdistrict community, where we come together to put our year’s progress to the test, showcase our strength, and celebrate all that we’ve achieved. It’s not just a competition—it’s the most exciting event of the year!

What to Expect: 
Kicking off this November, the Summer League will span 4 weeks of high-energy, adrenaline-pumping Saturday morning events. Four teams will go head-to-head in mixed pairings, battling it out for maximum points towards their Team. Every workout will be announced two days before the event, creating an infectious buzz and hype that will have you counting down the hours until the next throwdown.

This is more than just a competition—it's our annual celebration of everything we’ve worked for, every ounce of progress made, and every goal crushed throughout the year. Stronger bonds are forged, and our community comes alive as we support and push each other to new heights.

The Path to Victory: 
Cumulative scores over the 4 weeks mean every point matters. As teams battle it out week after week, the leaderboard will shift, creating an intense race toward the final week, where the champions of the Fitdistrict Summer League 2024 will be crowned!

THE LEAGUE BREAKDOWN

    • Commencement Date: Saturday, November 9th

    • Conclusion Date: Saturday, November 30th

    • Duration: 4 Weeks

    • Location: Fitdistrict Training Studio, Bella Vista

    • Time: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM

    Join us for 4 action-packed Saturdays as the Fitdistrict Summer League takes over our studio, bringing the energy and excitement of competition to the heart of Bella Vista.

  • The Fitdistrict Summer League is exclusively open to our Fitdistrict ‘Community Members,’ including both current and ex-members. Whether you’re actively training with us or have been part of our journey in the past, this is your chance to join the excitement, showcase your progress, and be part of the celebration!

  • Registration Cost: $89 per person

    Your registration fee covers administration costs, running expenses, a limited-edition tank top, and weekly post-event refreshments.

  • Each athlete will be placed in a House Team—Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow—with each of our coaches as team captains to build team spirit and fun competition.

    The Fitdistrict Summer League spans 4 weeks, with teams facing off in different events every Saturday morning. Athletes will compete in one heat per week in pairs, while bonus points can be earned in special events and challenges.

    As teams accumulate points week by week, they’ll climb the leaderboard. The House with the highest total points at the end of the league will be crowned champions.

  • Teams: Athletes will be divided into four house teams:

    • Team Red: Coach Ray

    • Team Blue: Coach MJ

    • Team Green: Coach Sarah

    • Team Yellow: Coach Emily

    Athletes will be randomly assigned to a team and will compete in pairs or groups of three.

    Teams will be announced one week before the start date.

    Divisions:

    • Fitness Division: For athletes focused on general fitness. (E.g., M: 17.5 kg / F: 10 kg weights)

    • Performance Division: For athletes capable of heavier standards. (E.g., M: 22.5 kg / F: 15 kg weights)

    *While athletes have the opportunity to select between the Fitness or Performance divisions, Fitdistrict coaches will assess and determine the most suitable division for each participant. This ensures that every athlete competes at a level that aligns with their current capabilities, promoting fairness and safety across all teams.

  • Heat times will run from 6:00 am to 9:00 am.

    Athletes must book their preferred heat time via Momence and arrive at least 15 minutes early to warm up. Each heat will last no longer than 20 minutes, with event durations varying each week.

    We encourage everyone to stay afterward to enjoy light refreshments and coffee while celebrating and connecting with the Fitdistrict community!

  • Events will be announced every Wednesday at 3pm, 3 days prior to competition on the Momence news feed.

    Announcements will outline the workout, Athlete expectations and movement standards.

    All Athletes are expected to understand the event breakdown and movement standards prior to competing.

  • Points will be accumulated over 4 weeks of competition.

    Scores of events are based on either time finished, reps scored, or weight/distance achieved.

    Point Breakdown:

    Participation: 20 points

    Placing:

    • 1st: 100 points

    • 2nd: 80 points

    • 3rd: 60 points

    • 4th: 40 points

    • Max Reps/Distance/Weight: Total Points based on performance

  • Athletes are expected to participate each week to earn points for their House Team.

    If an athlete is unable to attend, no external replacements are allowed. However, teams can use one substitute from their house per week. This sub will be a coach.

    • No sub-ins are allowed mid-event due to injury or disruption.

  • Heat Blocks:

    • Heat 1: 6:00 AM

    • Heat 2: 6:30 AM

    • Heat 3: 7:00 AM

    • Heat 4: 7:30 AM

    • Heat 5: 8:00 AM

    • Heat 6: 8:30 AM

    Athletes should arrive 15 minutes before their preferred heat time for warm-up.

    Heats and teams will be allocated weekly.
